H.Mayer of Newcastle c1830
An attractive inlaid mahogany case with swan neck pediment and 8 day movement wth moonroller dial, secondary minute dial and inset calender. The name Mayer is attributed to Venetian family of Clockmakers in late 18th Century and later to a Kasper Mayer of Newcastle and to whom this maker may well be connected.
